"Your Camera Takes Really Nice Pictures"
I'll start off my saying that I am not a professional photographer. I do however aspire to be just that one day... maybe... But... today, I am only an amateur if you would like to call it that. I study and research and try to learn as much as I can about the art of photography and of course my camera (which is the whole point of this post... or it was supposed to be).
I actually really missed all the studying and research just a few short months ago when planning and organizing for something other than photos kind of took over my life for a bit. I wouldn't change that planning and organizing for anything because I absolutely loved EVERY. SINGLE. SECOND. of all that planning. Actually that is one of my other favorite things to do. Wedding Planning. But, I really missed all the time I used to spend learning and growing in this incredibly rewarding hobby of mine.
Recently, I have gotten back into all my studying and I am really excited! I love learning from all the amazing photographers out there in the world, and I only hope that one day I can teach someone new all the things that the professionals have taught me.
Now back to the point of this post. Erin Farrell created a great post on her blog about cameras and pictures. She did a little experiment that you might find interesting. Well, maybe not, but I sure did and I wanted to share it with anyone that would listen. I won't go into detail on her post, but I would love for you to check it out. Very well written and she used a great analogy to help get the point across. The title of the post is “Your Camera Takes Really Nice Pictures”
